THE SPIRIT OF COBBLE HILL

COMMUNITY SPIRIT

We are fortunate to live in a rural community with a vibrant and welcoming outlook and where the spirit of volunteering is alive and well.

Many organizations exist in Cobble Hill that willingly give more than just their time to look after the needs of our community and who all go about their selfless business without fanfare or publicity.

We would all be at a loss without them and the services that they provide. I am truly grateful to those that continue to volunteer their time to provide help, support and events to all residents of our community

Some of these events are:

  • The Cobble Hill Fair
  • Seedy Saturday
  • Music in the Park
  • Cobble Hill Emergency Preparedness
  • Senior Luncheons
  • Garden House Foundation Charity Book Sale
  • South Cowichan Community Police

I firmly believe in supporting worthwhile community activities, but I also believe that it is important for any higher cost items to be taken to our area community for input
